You’ll get proper tuition too, so the driver won’t be left high and dry. This allows you to build confidence and really explore the limits of these powerful machines.

Budget of course is important. Some driving experiences are more expensive than others. Typically prices are in excess of £100, so it isn’t cheap as such. But the actual event itself is something that is so unique and so special, that the price itself is extremely reasonable. More extensive track dates will cost more and of course you can buy more than one experience to give them a full flavour of the action available. For under £200 though you can get a fantastic gift that will be remembered forever.
Where do the driving experiences take place?
There are circuits throughout the country offering their own unique driving experiences. This includes all the major venues for British motorsport including Brands Hatch, Oulton Park, Donnington, Thruxton and of course Silverstone. Therefore you should have no issues finding one that is relatively local to you.
However you might also want to consider whether the recipient has a favourite track. If they’ve always wanted to emulate their F1 heroes and drive around Silverstone, then the extra travel won’t be too much of a burden. Likewise, if they are a fan of motorbike and touring cars, then Brands Hatch is a hugely popular choice. The undulating and challenging course there has caught out even the best drivers in its time, so mastering it will come with a great sense of achievement.
